Hey! I'm Mimi.
I'm an American actor, writer, director, creative consultant, and coach based in London. Born in Newburyport, Massachusetts and raised between New England and Northern Virginia, I've spent much of my life navigating different places, perspectives, and ways of telling stories. (I also regularly use "wicked," "y'all," and "hiya!" in the same sentence, to the confusion of just about everyone.)
I hold an MFA in Professional Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and am a recipient of the UK's Global Talent Visa in Arts & Culture, recognising my work and contributions to theatre as an emerging artist.
My original work is particularly interested in the intersection of the personal and the political, exploring how the places we come from, the histories we inherit, and the communities we belong to shape our understanding of ourselves and one another. My solo play, How Can a Body Withstand This?, has received an Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grant for its development and presentation, and was awarded the Special Jury Award at Riverside Studios' 2026 Bitesize Festival.
Alongside my own creative practice, I work as a consultant and project manager supporting writers, theatre-makers, and independent creatives in developing new work, securing funding, and bringing ambitious projects to life. I'm also a private acting coach, working with actors preparing for competitive BFA, MFA, and drama school auditions, as well as professional performers navigating auditions and career opportunities. My students and clients have gone on to secure places at leading training institutions, major studio franchise roles, and professional stage credits.
Across all these disciplines, I'm interested in the same fundamental thing: making good work, helping other people make good work, and telling stories that invite us to look a little more closely at the world and our place in it.
When I'm not in a rehearsal room, writing, or coaching, you'll probably find me looking lost in thought in a London coffee shop, wandering through Columbia Road Flower Market, or precariously navigating the city on a Lime bike. Thanks for stopping by!
