When it comes down to it, I'm really chasing the highs of "ice skating shows" on my parents' hardwood floors, building fairy houses in the summertime, and hearing the crescendo of the Les Miserables finale for the first time. For much of my life, that pursuit of wonder has led me to the stage, in front of the camera, and in the studio - performing in my small hometown of Manassas, Virginia and in big, bright cities like my adopted home of NYC. While acting has traditionally been at the center of my work, I've discovered that my main priority, always, is to serve the storytelling process in whatever ways I can. That dedication has revealed many other passions, including: 1) preparing the next generation of artists with Broadway Artists Alliance and founding my own private coaching and teaching business, 2) working seasonally in the development department with Montclair Film, 3) writing, directing, filming, and acting in my own work (which you can check out below!), 4) joining a team of Core Collaborators to create a new and innovative theater organization, Kervigo Ensemble, and more. While life can be pretty chaotic looking for the next project, I'm grateful that every experience is new and dynamic, that each day, I wake up wondering what it is, exactly, I want to be when I grow up.
