Let's Ace Your Auditions.
Auditioning for College Acting or Musical Theatre programs? I’ve got you covered.
Applying to these programs is a complex, multi-step process - researching schools, selecting material, managing deadlines, writing personal statements, and filming pre-screens. For many students, it’s their first time balancing both the artistic and logistical demands at once.
I’m Mimi - a working actor, writer, and college audition coach. I guide students and their families through this process with a clear, structured approach that keeps things on track while centering joy, curiosity, and creative discovery. My work is about building discipline and making space for students to explore what excites them as artists.
Strong auditions aren’t built at the last minute. They grow from thoughtful planning, intentional choices, and a deep understanding of what each program values. My goal is simple: when audition season arrives, students aren’t overwhelmed by logistics - they’re grounded, confident, and excited to share their unique artistic voice.
College Audition Prep Pathways
Applying to Acting or Musical Theatre programs is often a multi-year process, so I offer support at every stage — from early exploration to full audition-season preparation.
Some students work with me over several years, while others join for more focused support in junior or senior year. There’s no requirement to start early — each offering is designed to meet you where you are.

A bit about me.
Mimi Harlow Robinson is an award-winning actor, playwright, screenwriter, director, creative producer, and audition coach with nearly a decade of experience supporting students applying to Acting and Musical Theatre programs. She studied Drama and English at the University of Virginia and holds a Master’s degree in Professional Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), consistently ranked one of the best acting conservatories in the world. Now based in London, Mimi is a working actor who also trained as a teaching artist and mentor with Broadway Artists Alliance of NYC, and works with students and families to navigate the artistic, academic, and logistical demands of the college audition process.
Her coaching is rooted in the belief that in the audition room, you have nothing to prove, only to share. Mimi is passionate about helping young artists cultivate deep curiosity and a genuine love for the craft, encouraging students to focus on the art in themselves rather than themselves in the art. By centering preparation around storytelling, connection, and artistic voice, she aims to support students in becoming thoughtful, passionate artists with something to say — not just for audition season, but for the work that comes after it.
